Why isn't the US pulling it's weight in accepting Iraqi refuees?

I always wonder that, too. Neighbouring countries, also, much poorer and not so well off themselves, have been forced to take in the refugees. There is a lot of inflation in Jordan. They just don't want have to pay for the consequences of their stupid act, I suppose.
