Physics, kinetic energy hw question?

C is correct. A is wrong because the block started at rest and didn't have 250J of mechanical energy to lose. B is wrong because mechanical energy isn't conserved; in this case it was lost in friction. D is wrong because you can't do a negative amount of work, unfortunately. I'm knackered.
