Traditional French Canadian Family Dinners?

I am a former chef and from canada and worked in Quebec, a side dish would be baked beans with bacon and maple syrup, poutine, even home fired potato's. drinks are wide open, with a meat pie or tourtiere as it is known in Quebec, a salad is better, you have the crust as the bread component.
