Need help on opinions about Ice cream Machines?!?!?

Yeah so my dad is a huge fan of Iron Chef America, and they always make ice cream out of like veal and oysters and stuff. So for fathers day (yes I know it has already ped, but we couldn't find one) we are going to get him one. I've looked in places like Zellers, SuperStore, and a couple of cookiong stores, but I can't find a really nice one. Any suggestions on where to get one and which one to get? It needs to be mechanical, not hand cranked as well! Please leave your opinions on them, and it doesn't matter if we have to order them from the US or anything. Thanks!
