My friend treats her baby like a piece of sh*t! Help!?

I agree with you, I feel so sorry for the baby. If the "mother" doesn't care about the baby, why is the baby still with her? Couldn't the baby go to the mother's mother or foster care or adoption? Maybe a close relative or a friend that wants a baby but can't have one? You could talk to her or even take her in as your own. I know it's a lot of work, but you could at least do something to stop all this for the baby. The poor girl. Please try to do something about it, talk to the mother, talk some sense into her! If she's not going to care for her own child, she might as well do the baby some good and give her to a proper family, one that can look after and cherish the little girl. Why isn't anyone doing anything about it? Where are other relatives? I feel for this child, she seems so hurt. Try some of my suggestions. If they don't work, then, I'm really sorry, I wish I could do something about it, I'm only 14, I don't know all the legal rights. Hope it goes well. Kind regards, Sonnya.
